Sonu is a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF), pursuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna).
Currently, he is working on some applications of optimal control theory in epidemiology under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Prashant Kumar Srivastava. The MathMod@IITP (Dr. Srivastava's Research Group) harnesses the power of Mathematics to solve epidemiological and ecological problems.
